The 25% rye gives it more spice than a typical wheated or low-rye bourbon without tipping into rye whiskey territory. Breaking Bourbon's review found corn, grain, orange, lemon and cedar on the nose, a sweet palate of lemon, mild cherry and grass, and a vanilla finish with a hint of oak, calling it easy-drinking with no harsh graininess or ethanol bite.
