By the Dutch Advocaat is a traditional Dutch egg liqueur from By the Dutch, a company founded in 2015 to bring the classic spirits of Holland's historic distilleries to the world. Advocaat is made by blending egg yolks with brandy, then adding more brandy, sugar and vanilla and resting the mixture until it reaches the perfect consistency. One legend says Dutch colonists first tasted a Brazilian avocado drink and swapped egg yolks for the fruit back home. Bottled at 17% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
