Gilka Kaiser Kümmel Herbal Liqueur

Gilka Kaiser Kümmel is a 750ml German caraway liqueur from Gilka of Berlin, a house founded in 1836 and long considered the benchmark for kümmel. Kümmel is the traditional caraway, cumin and fennel liqueur of northern Europe, sipped for centuries to aid digestion after a rich meal.

Gilka's version is powerful and spicy, clean and slightly sweet, with caraway leading over anise and fennel. Serve it ice-cold in a small glass after dinner, or use it in classic cocktails like the Silver Bullet and the Kremlin Colonel, or add a dash to a martini.
