Solitude Herring Psychedelic

One of our top flies for albacore tuna off the coast.

The Solitude Herring Psychedelic is a top fly for us when the albacore show up offshore, and we've caught a lot of tuna on it. The blue, green, and white color scheme looks like the herring and other baitfish that tuna chase. If you're heading out after albacore on the fly, this belongs in your box.

See how we fish it in our guide to fly fishing for albacore tuna out of Ilwaco.
